Hyper3D WorldGen vs Image-to-3D: A Scene or One Object?
WorldGen starts with a scene. Image3D starts with the object you want to take away. That difference matters more than a shared “image to 3D” label.
What Hyper3D WorldGen produces
Hyper3D describes WorldGen as a way to reconstruct a scene from one image, with independently editable objects rather than one fused mesh. Its company announcement describes CAST-based alignment; September 1 reporting explains the hybrid representation: mesh foreground assets and a Gaussian-splat background. These are different kinds of 3D data, so “export the scene” does not imply that every visible surface is a conventional editable mesh.

If you only need one object
Start by isolating the subject in your reference. A clear image of the chair is more useful for this job than a wide room photograph with the chair half hidden by a table. Keep the feet, armrests and silhouette visible. Use Image3D to generate a candidate, rotate it, and inspect the underside and back before purchasing an export.
For a concept prop, ask whether the shape communicates the idea. For a replacement part, ask whether measured dimensions and tolerances are available. A convincing image-derived shape alone does not answer the second question. See our input-image guide before committing to more generations.
The Blender and physics boundary
Importing assets into Blender or an engine is a handoff, not completion. Check materials, scale, normals, object origins and the receiving tool’s support for the background representation. Hyper3D’s announcement is not evidence that Image3D provides scene reconstruction, CAST alignment or scene-level physics. We do not offer those capabilities.
