What Is an AI 3D Model Generator?
An AI 3D model generator uses deep learning to reconstruct three-dimensional geometry from two-dimensional inputs. How the AI 3D Generator Works
- Depth estimation. The AI analyzes shading gradients, perspective lines, and occlusion boundaries to estimate a depth map for every pixel in your image.
- Mesh reconstruction. The depth map is lifted into 3D space and a polygon mesh is generated to match the inferred geometry. For Standard quality, the mesh has tens of thousands of faces. For Ultra quality, up to 1 million faces.
- Texture projection. The original image is UV-mapped onto the mesh surface. For Pro and Ultra tiers, the AI additionally decomposes the image into PBR material channels — base color, roughness, metalness, and normal maps.
- Export packaging. The mesh and textures are packaged into your chosen format: GLB (single file, all textures embedded), OBJ (separate files), STL (geometry only, for printing), or PLY (point cloud / mesh data).
